Our board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners provide expert medication management through collaborative partnership. We specialize in understanding the relationship between brain chemistry, physical health, and overall wellness, and we’ll work with you to find the right medication and dosage for your needs.
Conditions We Treat
Our providers have extensive experience evaluating and treating a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions, including depression and persistent depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and panic disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in teens and adults, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder (bipolar I and bipolar II), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), insomnia and sleep disorders, substance use disorders and dual diagnosis, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, adjustment disorders, and grief-related mental health concerns.
Treatment Options
We offer a range of evidence-based medication treatment approaches tailored to your individual needs.
Standard Psychiatric Medications: Our providers prescribe and monitor antidepressants (SSRIs, SNRIs, atypicals), anti-anxiety medications, mood stabilizers, stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medications, antipsychotics, and sleep aids. Every prescription decision is made collaboratively with you, considering your symptoms, lifestyle, goals, and any existing health conditions.
Spravato (Esketamine) for Treatment-Resistant Depression: We offer Spravato (esketamine nasal spray), an FDA-approved treatment for adults with treatment-resistant depression. Esketamine works differently than traditional antidepressants by targeting NMDA receptors in the brain, offering a modern mechanism of action for individuals who have not achieved adequate response with other medications. Spravato is administered in our office under direct medical observation as required by the FDA’s REMS program. Each treatment session lasts approximately two hours to ensure proper monitoring and safety. Treatment typically involves twice-weekly sessions initially, with potential for reduced frequency based on your response.
Long-Acting Injectable Medications (LAIs): For patients who benefit from injectable medication options, we offer long-acting injectables that can simplify your treatment routine and help maintain consistent medication levels.
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Your first visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation lasting approximately 60 to 90 minutes. During this appointment, your provider will review your mental health history and current symptoms, discuss previous treatments and medications, learn about your personal goals and what wellness looks like for you, perform a diagnostic assessment, and develop a personalized treatment plan together with you.
You are an active partner in your care from the very beginning. We provide clear education about your medications, answer all your questions, and give careful attention to potential side effects. We also coordinate with your other healthcare providers and therapist to ensure well-rounded care.
Follow-Up Care
After your initial evaluation, follow-up appointments focus on monitoring your progress, adjusting dosages as needed, addressing any side effects, and refining your treatment plan over time. We believe medication works best when combined with therapy and attention to lifestyle factors, because mental health care treats the whole person.

We accept most commercial insurance plans and Medicaid to ensure mental health care is accessible when you need it. Visit our insurance page for a full list of accepted plans, or contact us at 317-207-0273 to verify your coverage before your first appointment.
